I'm really hungry but don't feel like cooking yet, so here's me trying to make a bit of a catch up post from the past week or so.

Friday
BUSY DAY. I picked up my PS2 from the store and they did an incredible job (as always). The top loader has been warped since I installed it in 2007, and they fixed that without me even asking??? The whole repair was only $30, because they're fucking amazing. I ended up chatting with the employees for like two hours because we all love to talk, but I managed to avoid buying anything extra...this time XD


I cut through Round1 on the way out, so I just had to take a pic of Madara on one of the rhythm games~
And then I got to be disappointed by the BIBLION scout box - aka the rate up box for the Crazy:B climax - because I guess Tsukasa has betrayed me???? idk I was exhausted and hadn't eaten yet, so the world was ending. After I got lunch I felt a lot better XD

idk what I did the rest of the night...OH!!! I picked Liz and Pat up from work and then we (unsuccessfully) tried to pick up meds for Pat before driving off to Petco. Lumos and her expensive food is killing me but I love her...anything for baby ♥


also I put Tsukasa on my homescreen in an attempt to entice him home...tune in next time to see how that went!
Saturday
Crazy:B climax babeyyyyy!!!!! I can't believe the climax events are finally here OwO I'm kinda sad I'm only going for one copy of Rinne, but the Double Face one will be here before I know it. I'm also excited for the TRIP album cards in a couple more months!!!

Liz and I went to Arundel Mills, because I guess I go there every few weekends??? I finally remembered to bring the right nuis with me, so I have some very good pictures at the Egyptian movie theatre.


FINALLY BROUGHT THEM!!!! AND THEY LOOK GREAT!!!!!!!

And then we went home so I could get on the grind- the grind for more dia, because I was determined to bring Tsukasa home. Both for the event rate up and because I have this card in JP & CN, so I'm used to seeing him around. I also just really like the outfit. Also Tsukasa USUALLY stalks me!!!! And so...I had to wring a bunch of dia out of my account and try just one more 10 scout...

Also, the story for the scout box is legit really good...and also is kinda the reason Nagisa has an account for writing RPF in Ougonten XD So that's delightful. I love when thinks interconnect like that (sometimes in silly ways).

Saturday was also the end of The Legend of KAGETSU on the CN server and I did manage to snag Keito from it, as well as use my hoarded memorial coins to pick up some Kohaku and Madara cards I'd been missing. Next up is Mika Goes To Space the event, and then I can maybe take a break from focusing on CN for a bit.

Writing this entry is really challenging me to think about what I did the past few days....mostly just lounged around the house and played video games, I think???????????? OH. Josh made it back from the bachelor party he was at down in SC, and he stayed over for another night to break up the long drive. And I made a bow for Genevieve to send home with him, since she's living a very spoiled life as an only cat and thus needs an adorable bow, too.

Monday
Pat went up to Pittsburgh with Josh, leaving me and Liz alone for a little staycation! We mostly just vibed around the house, but we managed to pop out for some groceries in the afternoon. We got the stuff to make tantanmen + a few other meals but forgot gatorlyte again, because my life is suffering XD I've just been really dehydrated lately ;w;

I started patterning some outfits for nuis, but burnt out kinda quickly because doing tiny stuff is soooooooo taxing for me D: I'll try to get back to it soon, I just...idk. It's a lot. Plus I think I have to get slightly different pleather that's thinner, and uhhhhhh joanns is just about gone so I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon.

bluh.

And then I played a bunch of FFVII and accidentally reached the point of no return with Aerith without remembering to make an extra save file with her, so I feel stupid ;w; I do at least have to replay basically disc one to get the trophy for taking Barret on the Gold Saucer date, so...I guess I'll make one then...

BUT WE GOT THE EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT AND I WAS RIGHT IT WAS SWITCH WITH NATSUME AS THE CENTER, EVERYONE ELSE WHO DOUBTED IT CAN DERELICK MY BALLS XD

Today
Woke up early to drive Liz to work, got home, tried to work on graphics/writing/coding/this entry...I started this like 5+ hours ago D: I did take a nap in the middle because Lumos got in my lap and put me to sleep, but I also fed myself. I'm not still starving XD

Anyway!!! I have to pick Liz up in like half an hour, so I'm gonna cut it here. I probably have even more pictures I haven't posted yet, but 1) this is long enough and 2) I don't feel like sorting through everything to see what I have and haven't posted.

So I'm (sorta) back on flight rising, because I've been playing since 2013 and I guess I'm not gonna stop ever XD I just take breaks sometimes because, idk, life is hard. But I've been on and off playing again....partially because I wanted to make fandragons from enstars.


FANDRAGONS ARE A KEY PART OF MY LAIR OKAY MY FIRST EVER DRAGON IS BAKURA AND HE'S PERFECT.
I haven't quite finished the ones I'm working on, but they're coming along nicely I think :D I'll share them once they reach a point that is...complete, I guess?

I haven't done much of anything the past couple days...Liz did get 3 copies of Shinobu from the event, so I'm very happy for them!!! I ended up with 3 copies of the Subaru from the graduation tour in engstars, because I had such a good event bonus???? idk entirely how it happened, but he's a really good vocal-based red card, so he'll fit right in with my red team. And the next Trickstar event is red, so.......I'm prepared!

Pat bricked his laptop today while trying to install Linux on it, and I couldn't get it fixed ;w; I only tried for a bit tho, so I think if either of us took the time we could get it booting again. He did back everything up first...which is good, just in case we have to wipe it all. I don't think that's necessary, but I'd need some more time with it to be sure :T

What else...

I recorded a bunch of enstars MVs to make icons with, mostly for monthlyinspo. This month's challenge is "head to toe", so basically full body crops for icons. And MVs are a great source of fun poses + the ability to put anyone in any outfit in them makes for nearly endless possibilities. I'm currently working on Leo ones, because I realized I'd made like none Leo icons, and that's a crime.

Also I swear I've done nothing but drink water lately and I'm still fucking thirsty. Urgh. I guess I'll trying having a Gatorlyte and hoping for the best :T WHATEVER.

You know...someday I will learn to sleep like a normal person. I feel like I'm in high school all over again >_>

My cat Luna died today.

She's been sick for awhile but it was still kind of sudden...she was fine yesterday and today she couldn't even stand. So. She managed to hang on for most of the day but finally tonight she passed away. I was just closing up at work and my dad called me.

Obviously, I'm very sad about this.

I can't even imagine her being gone. I don't know what I'm going to do. It doesn't even feel real; I keep expecting o look over and there she'll be.

...I'm going to go style my Yami Bakura wig & cut out the skirt for thief king because damn it I'm not going to just cry.

Otakon = amazing. Just fyi.

Day one started with over three hours in line waiting to get in and register. We met some awesome people in line, so that was good. But still. THREE HOURS. That really contributed to our being exhausted thing. Plus we both had our chests bound so we were like...unable to breathe. Oh Baltimore in the summer.

Once we got in, we spent a good hour hunting for the fountains so we could get to the Yugioh photoshoot. WAY TO GO US. We followed an Ishizu and a Kaiba thinking they knew where they were going, but apparently they didn't either because they asked us for help. EVENTUALLY we found it :D And it was AWESOME. The Malik cosplayer was super awesome~

Then the wandering around began! We found the dealers room and made it about, oh, 1/4 of the way through. Seriously. IT'S HUGE. Tekkoshocon is nothing compared to this. I was kind of in overwhelmed excitement all day. But yeah, I hit up the yaoi doujin table pretty early on and drooled over that for awhile...then hunted around for stuff to hang off my DS.

We left the con to get lunch after that & then went back to the hotel just to rebind ourselves and rest for a second. One three hour nap later...we made it back to the con in time to look at the artists alley and buy ygo abridged t-shirts :D Then we went to the cosplay pajama party and watched them play duck duck goose. Until security stopped them XD We also sat down and played the yugioh card game for awhile, that was fun.

And then dinner...at about 11:30. Oh man. Good times. Then I uploaded pictures and passed out.

I have too much to update on but I'm too lazy to actually focus on it. The highlight of the past few days: I went to work on Monday in Bakura cosplay, minus the wig because I don't have it yet. Sadly, we had all of 20 customers that evening due to it being memorial day, so no one recognized me D:

ALSO. My new, soon-to-be-announced graphics journal should be opening tonight. Or tomorrow. The layout is almost done, I think...I'm about 80% done with coloring the manga pages and I already have the idea sketched out in my head and on paper. I just wish that I hadn't chosen such detailed pages to color. Seriously. I've put hours and hours into two panels >_<

Tomorrow I'm going to Chipotle for FREE BURRITOS!!! and then Joy's Japanimation because it's out that way. I'm tempted to go in cosplay again but I really do need to get that wig...I get paid Friday so that's probably when I'll order it XD

Well, no, actually, I don't, I think he's one of the most awesome characters ever. But he's a bitch and a half to color, seriously...

I'm working on a layout for a new graphics community (maybe this one will actually last!) and I'm coloring a panel of the memory world arc of the ygo manga for it. fucking coat. And the scans are not hugely great so I might end up scanning in my own manga...

BED TIME. I have things to do tomorrow and I'm just going to frustrate myself XD

God, I really should go back to freshens, but it's just fallen apart at this point I think and I'm going to ignore it like the lazy ass I am. And these are seriously all the icons I've made in the past six months or so, wtf. Credit setsuntamew please.
