OKAY. The image hosting software still isn't working properly, but at least it's being worked on by the support team. And I can still upload things through my FTP client and the in browser control panel, it's just the convenience of the specific image hosting that's lacking- for now.

Cool things I did this week: more hand-sewing projects! I made a big bow for Lumos and matching-ish ones for my Judal & Hakuryuu nuis! :D

Besides that...it's mostly been playing enstars, stressing about my website, and watching Liz fucking crush it at Queen's Blood in FFVII: Rebirth XD I've played some more of the OG, too, but...idk I haven't been feeling great so I've been sleeping a lot. I would really love if this could stop happening ;w;

BUT!!!! I wan to make more cute things!!!!! I have a bunch of YouTube videos open on how to make rosettes for pins/ita bags, and I wanna use that knowledge to make things for my nuis. The Kohaku & Madara ones that I usually carry around are a unique size for nuis - basically only the company that makes them makes outfits/accessories for them - so I also wanna make them some more clothes. I just gotta keep inspiring myself!!

Also I promised myself I was done buying Chinese enstars merch because of the tariffs - even though I love most of it, hence why I've got a bunch I preordered - but they just teased the new collection of merch and it's REALLY FUCKING CUTE!!!!!!!! Everyone has fox ears and fluffy kimonos for most of it, and then they're making fox nuis of all the characters.

AS IF THE KITTY CAT KIGU NUIS I ORDERED AREN'T CUTE ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's killing me XD I guess I'll have to see how all the tariffs shake out/how feasible buying from a reseller in Japan or else is, but damn if I don't want basically that whole collection ;w; Life is hard!!!

Oh, right...on Madara's birthday I did a single scout on his birthday box because I didn't have much else to spare, and this fucker gave me a third copy of his demon 5* XD

.....and then in ENG I did multiple 10 scouts and got NOTHING OF HIS. I did get some 5* cards, just not his. Which like. Okay. I'm glad to have them, but I'm also kinda desperately hoping to max out his first feature scout and get the secret color...maybe someday.

Save for a few kinks that I'm still sorting out - like logging into/uploading images to my actual image hosting on my site - it's all back!!!! Everything is there, it's just a matter of fixing some fairly minor things. All told, it took about 12 hours from when I submitted the support ticket, which is honestly not that bad! Especially since they had to escalate it multiple times due to the complexity of it...yeah. idk what went wrong, but it was something major on their end.

BUT IT'S ALL BETTER NOW!!!

I have a lot of thoughts and also yesterday was Madara's birthday and I spent most of it stressing about website issues so like. bluh. MAYBE NEXT YEAR, MAMA XD

Anyway, I'm gonna try to catch up on my friends page and replying to comments and all that, I'm just kinda wiped emotionally right now. I hate that I mostly managed it while it was going on, but now I'm...not? It's like an emotional hangover of sorts I guess? idk. I don't like it :T

After spending a chunk of the day desperately trying to install koel to my server, I.......gave up and asked my host to install it for me XD I wanna be good at websites so bad but I really only know enough to get by on like, tumblr and here, lmao, so trying to do complicated stuff doesn't really go well for me.

BUT WHATEVER. IT WORKS NOW!!!!!!

Sooooo, I'm gonna spend a chunk of this week uploading music to it, so I can listen to better quality shit!!!!!!!!!! I hadn't realized just how flat things sounded until I spent a bunch of time listening to all my old mp3s from high school, and now I feel so fucking spoiled. Music on streaming services just sounds so flaaaaaaaaat.

I do have a lot of music, though, so it's gonna take time to go through and make sure all the files have the right track names/artists/albums/etc. At least I'm not working right now? XD

Oh!!!! It also has built in last.fm integration, so I don't even have to run a separate scrobbler to make sure everything shows up. tbh the built in last.fm connectivity was what drew me to Spotify, so now that I can do it on my own thing....I'm very pleased :D

Working out also continued to go well today!!!! Pat and I went on a walk in the woods - since it wasn't a million fucking degrees out, for once - and then had to go to two grocery stores to get everything for dinner. But I actually managed to run around both without any trouble so!!!!!! I'm doing a LOT better ;w;

I spent a big chunk of yesterday putting together a website for my fountain pen related things - mostly planning on it being ink reviews tbh - and I'm very proud of it! It's just Wordpress with one of their free themes, but I think it came out really nicely~

Aaaaand I finally fixed all the security issues on my domains, so both setsuntamew.net and juhaku.com are using https:// by default and have properly signed certificates. I fucked it up like two years ago and never fixed it BUT IT IS DONE. AFTER MANY PERILOUS ATTEMPTS, IT WORKS THE RIGHT WAY!!!!

Love that juhaku.com purely exists as an image host for myself + Liz, thx to photobucket shitting the bed a few years back. It's nice though!!! It's given me a lot of freedom to just do little projects like this, because I already have hosting set up for myself.

Though...I do kinda wanna make a juhaku shrine as the landing page, in the style of early 2000s fansites. Will anyone else care? WHO KNOOOOOOWS A BUNCH OF PEOPLE RECOGNIZED ME AND LIZ AT KATSU SO MAYBE!!!!! I just have to figure out how to do something with frames but like, a modern internet take on it...

OH LAST THING. I did unfortunately learn that updating my site's PHP to 7.4 - aka what Wordpress suggests - breaks the manga reader that MewDragon uses. And I'm just not good enough at PHP shit to figure out how to prevent that or fix it...so I'm running 7.1 which is ostensibly less secure but at least everyone can still read their gay doujinshi on the go.

Why is it so damn hard to get a simple image host installed??? I got tired of using photobucket after their first big dumb decision a couple years ago, so I've been using my own domain & hosting since. However, I pretty quickly got tired of having to manually type out the URLs of images, so last year I decided to install an image hosting script to make it easier.

Long story short: it's not easier :T

I'm currently using chevereto, which...works, I guess. I definitely think it would be better suited as a photo hosting site (similar to flickr) as opposed to "where Killian hosts pictures of their OCs and shit for fandom sites" but I've still been using it. It's pretty convenient.

However, I am now having a major issue with it. The most recent update refused to install - I tried a few times and it kept timing out - so I just ignored it. Apparently that was the wrongest answer, because it decided to kick itself into maintenance mode to update.



A few minutes, my ass. It's been stuck like that for at least 24 hours now, since I only discovered it yesterday when I went to upload pics for my last entry. So now I'm like....how long as it been stuck like this.......?????

So whatever, I was slammed at work and stressed the fuck out, so I went to Waffle House afterwards and then bed. I hoped it would somehow fix itself overnight, but no luck. I was like fine, I'll go submit a support ticket.

NOPE! The "open a support ticket" link just takes you the public support forums. That's not...the same thing...thankfully Liz is the best wife ever and is making a post for me, but that's just too stressful? I hate posting things in public????

Anyway, fingers crossed I can get this resolved ;w; I went poking around for other image hosting scripts, but they're all basically the same as what I have now. Is it really so hard to just have a simple page that displays the thumbnails with the direct link under them??? That's all I fucking want. I hate having to click on every individual image to get the code but apparently that's all there is out there >
