I should have planned this better because uhhh I ground out the second and third copies in like. 30 hours? But I didn't sleep in those 30 hours....I pulled two consecutive all-nighters for his bitch ass, but honestly? Worth it.

Now if the next JP event is also one of my faves I'll just die XD

Anyway. I gotta go wrap up Shinobu's birthday in JP + CN. I napped for a few hours but I still feel pretty crummy, but...Shinobu.......

Oh I also got a fourth copy of Tetora from the CN merge game but forgot to take a screencap I was so tired...sobs...I even took a nap this afternoon but like. I need to stop doing dumb shit like this, I feel like I'm dyin.

I'm still not feeling great, but that's not what this entry is about!!!! It's about the Switch event in JP!!!! I managed to get Natsume with more than 24 hours to go, which is a nice change of pace from grinding out the 5* at the last fucking second.


and now I finally have Natsume 5* cards in every color :D
However...as I was running through the last few plays of the event song I'd need to get him, I started to worry about something. The other green Switch cards I have are dance based - as are most of my good green cards in general - and this bitch is performance based. Which means that someone is missing from my most ideal lineup for green Switch songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


the role of Natsume is currently being played by Madara Mikejima
So, prayer circle for me while I make peace with grinding out a second copy of Natsume XD

In better enstars news, I managed to max out Madara's first feature scout during its revival in engstars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was one of the first cards I got and I ended up playing a lot of Yukai Tsuukai That's Alright! with him, so I'm quite attached. Plus I just think the secret color is neat~


also his stats are quite good; he's now my best yellow card in eng~


AND I got a second copy of Kohaku's cross scout as my VIP solo scout of the day :D so that was a nice little surprise~
ANYWAY. I've got more to say about enstars because of course I do but I'm gonna get back to the grind for a bit before I pass out.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh idk man I've been sick so I've been pretty much completely out of it, but at least I have Switch to support me!!!!!!! It's the Crazy:B climax in ENG, so of course JP had to do an event I super care about at the same time!!!!!!!!!!! NATSUME PLZ. I'm excited and also like "god why"

Also I'm just. idk how to put this into words because I don't feel great, but like...I was really disappointed by the last Switch event, so I'm trying to be hopeful but am also nervous. The song + outfits are better, but that's no guarantee the story will be...tho nothing could be as bad as some of the ending bits of Wish sooooo

I have a bunch of nui pics to share (featuring a cute outfit I found at the mall that actually fits the pattythree nuis!!!) but I'm tired :/ And uh. I got the ps2 repaired! So that's good. It's working even better than it was, since they managed to fix how the flip top was warped.

Maybe tomorrow I'll write a more coherent entry ;w;

It was a lot of grinding in the last 48 hours or so, but!!! I DID IT!!!! I brought him home ♥ Now I have all of Switch in Yellow - all of them Vocal-based, even! - and I have to somehow get used to his shorter hair ;w; New glasses, too...

That's basically most of what I did today and yesterday XD I finally got a good night's sleep because we got more Nyquil and it KNOCKED ME THE FUCK OUT. I slept for nearly 12 hours, but it means I've now mostly shaken off whatever made me so sick :D

I had to make something to commemorate our fallen comrade 💙 rip Tsumugi’s long hair, may flights of angels and all that~~~
aka, I used my many years of cake decorating experience to make something really funny, because sometimes when you're upset or disappointed, all you can do is laugh XD I do think I managed to catch the funeral/celebration of life flier vibe pretty well, though!!!!

I'm continuing to feel better- well enough that I went to the grocery store today! It completely wiped me out afterwards, but I'll still call that successful. I managed to pick up some easy foods to hopefully carry me the rest of the way through recovery, as well. And eventually I won't feel like complete ass!!!!!!!

tbh I don't have much else to say; I spent most of today working on icons or grinding the JP event. I will get Tsumugi!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad news: I do not like how the Switch event story went. The first half was like...solid, had potential, kinda felt like it was going in a direction I liked? And then the second half did not. I haven't properly read the whole thing yet (due to being so sick), just gotten updates/summaries/reactions from someone in the enstars discord server I'm in who is a SwitchP/big time natsumugi shipper, so I guess he might be biased...but I am also those things, so I trust him.

ugh.

I know I should wait to form my own opinions until after I've read it myself, but I'm just...so disheartened? Maybe it's good Double Face isn't back together in canon...they can't fuck up their reunion if it never happens!

I'm still not fully better; I'm very fuzzy headed and I keep losing my train of thought ;w; As long as I'm laying down I feel almost okay, and then I stand up and it's all over D: Liz and Pat both got sick but didn't have it nearly as long as I have!!!! It's not faaairrrrr.

OH!!!!! But I did accomplish something today!!! I did the current challenge in retro_icontest - which is basically used the same two screencaps eight ways - and I'm incredibly proud of the results! I posted them @ killiansicons but just!!! I really pushed myself to not do the same crops/textures/etc I always use, and it paid off!

Other than that...mostly just been laying in bed sick. Fingers crossed tomorrow is better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The play was so good!!! I love the theater!!!!!! I WISH WE COULD GO MORE OFTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Madara- I accidentally made it look like he's a dashing prince who is actually quite excited to marry his betrothed, because they already had a secret romance going on that they both thought was forbidden due to an upcoming arranged marriage~
Seriously though, birthday boy is good luck, because the box of doujins + merch Liz & I ordered arrived today!!!! I guess his birthday is technically tomorrow, but it's already the 16th in Japan- so his bday event has started in jp already :D I didn't manage to pull any 5 stars of the birthday boy (sadly, since I have NONE on my jp account) but I DID pull the rate up Yuzuru~ So, I'd call that mixed success.

uhhh I feel like I start these entries so optimistically, like I truly believe I'm gonna be organized, and then I fuck it up because I have the kind of ADHD that makes my brain a fucking disaster. I also think I forgot to eat today, but I can't remember (see previous statement about my brain being useless).
