Okay, now that Adonis's spotlight time has come to engstars, I can finally read the story. The whole thing is vaguely D&D themed - it's called Dungeons & Druid after all - but the story isn't vague about it at all. It's D&D in all but name XD And it's delightful. Like. The event story is only 5 chapters + some minitalks, but I enjoyed every second of it.

ANYWAY. I'm still recovering from yesterday, because apparently I overdid it and stressed myself? my body??? out too much ;w; Liz and Pat went to see Princess Mononoke because it's playing in theaters this weekend, but I was too exhausted mentally (and maybe physically?) to go along. At least I saw it in theaters when it first came out, because I was lucky enough to have an older cousin who took me along.

OH MY GOD RIGHT HOW COULD I FORGET!!!! MERGE MANSIONS THE ENSTARS MERGE GAME HAS RETURNED!!!!!!!!!!! It started last night in CN (and I guess we'll get it in engstars after Adonis's spotlight time is over) and I am having so much fun with it!!!!! I usually don't get multiple copies of cards in CN because I'm f2p + it's not my main focus, but since I can't play it in ENG yet.......I'm already almost halfway to my first copy of Tetora and it's been less than 24 hours XD

SO THAT WAS SHOCKING AND EXCITING!!!!!!! I'm worried he won't be as kinda in engstars, which will suck because he's a dance-based blue card just like the maxed out Yuta I have so I would really like to pull him. ALSO HIS OUTFIT IS JUST REALLY GOOD!!!

The kitchen is kinda trashed and I'm not feeling great, so I ordered Chinese for dinner...nom nom nom. It's not here yet, but it's my reward for uhhhhhhh finishing this entry and also not just taking a nap in the lovesac. I almost just curled up with Lumos earlier, so I'm gonna call it a win that I didn't.

OH. YES. CHILI'S WAS REALLY GOOD LAST NIGHT I had a nice time!!!! We went to one we don't usually go to because traffic was really bad, but it was delightfully predictable. It Just Tastes Like Chili's, and sometimes that's exactly what you're in the mood for. It was very comforting~

Coming soon: finally playing d&d 3.5 again!!!!! 5th edition is great and all, but I was introduced through 3.5 and it'll always have a special place in my heart. Pat is gonna be DMing and it kiiiinda sounds like we're starting in Traverse Town XD

We haven't started playing yet; we're still in the character creation stage. Elio came over this evening for basically session 0, in which I realized that I uhhhhhh don't remember as much of 3.5 as I thought. Probably because I haven't played it since 2014? 2015???? It's been awhile, okay, life is hard. I'm playing a sorcerer, surprise surprise, and Liz couldn't decide between two different character ideas so they're playing two characters, because they're crazy (and I love them for it).

Also, we learned something very important: Genevieve is a dice gremlin XD She went RIGHT for the die once it was in front of her.

I'm still knitting!!! I'm actually quite pleased with myself for keeping at it~ I ended up using some of the fancy yarn I got last weekend to make myself a small-ish dice bag for d&d, because I have more dice than I know what to do with.

Related: we started a new d&d campaign this week!! It was technically a one shot, but we made characters that we wouldn't mind playing more if they all jived. And they did!!!!! I finally got to use a character design + concept I'd come up with a few years back - a Cleric of Olidammara who is fucking his way through the realm in hopes of meeting his deity - and he was just as fun to play as I'd hoped. Pat was DM for this session but I think he and Liz are gonna alternate sessions going forward. I'm not, because I'm a bottom simple player with no desire to DM ;D

Sooooo that's why I ended up knitting again: I had to keep my hands busy during d&d (because ADHD says I gotta). I did end up spoiling myself with the fancy yarn I got tho...it's just so nice to work with!!! It's hand-dyed merino wool and also the softest thing I've ever used. I dunno how I'm gonna go back to acrylic yarn but like, financially, I can't keep doing this XD At least I got to have fun this once...

Also, I still have Trigun brainworms something fierce because I sat through fuckin commercials this morning so I could watch the new episode of Stampede on Hulu the second it dropped. Just. Okay. I had to know what was happening and I could not wait another second. I've given myself way too many feels about Knives because of course I did; I'm a villain fucker at heart. I already screamed about my spoilery feels over on tumblr so I'm gonna hold back for now, but just know: I am dying inside. In a good way.

My wife is to blame for not just Trigun feels but also accidentally getting me invested in a relatively rare pair. Because I love villains and fucked up loyalty kink, of course I had to love Knives and his most specialest boy Legato, who he's totally gonna kill last. But apparently everyone else just wants Knives and Vash to fuck which is completely valid and I agree BUT ALSO I WANT MY BAD BOYS WITH LOYALTY PROBLEMS TO KISS TOO, OKAY
