Dear Chocolatier,
Hi, I’m Killian! Thank you for taking the time to check out my letter!! This is the first time I’ve ever done a fandom exchange like this, but my wife dragged me into it after doing one last fall :D I’ve tried to keep it as organized as possible for you, but like I said, I'm still kinda new to this. If you have any questions, feel free to leave an anonymous comment here or ask one of the mods.

General Preferences
I tend to be pretty easy going about requests, so as long as it doesn’t hit any of my DNWs I’m open to it! I have a few specific AUs listed, but I love just about anything, be it canon or AU. I also love just, cliche, trope-y fun. If it wouldn’t look out of place on FanFiction.Net in 2006, I’ll probably be all over it :D
Certain AUs and likes work better for specific fandoms, and I’ve tried to list those where they belong. Overall, I just like a focus on the ship requested, but with the feeling that there’s still a rich world around them, whatever kind of world/setting/etc that may be.

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic
I love the world of Magi! Basically the whole concept of Kings and Magis is a fantastic storytelling element, and that’s also where the loyalty kink comes into play. I’m also open to AUs, but I’d prefer something where magic still exists. I find that it’s very linked to the characters, especially Judal. I have trouble imagining him without it, though I’m cool with an AU where he’s the only magic thing in it. It suits him :D

➺ Judal/Ren Hakuryuu: I love their undying loyalty, especially when Judal's is focused on and played up a little. He's very obsessive and I love that mix of sweet and creepy. Judal and Hakuryuu are two dysfunctional people who are slightly more functional together, and anything that explores that is very much loved. I really love the "us against the world" dynamic they have going on. When it comes to smut, I prefer trans Judal, but I'm also not gonna say no to any sorta smutty stuff involving the two of them.
➺ Ren Hakuryuu/Zagan: I just love the dynamics between djinn and their metal vessel users, and I particularly love these two together. Plus,tentacle vine sex :D There's a lot to explore in their relationship, and it doesn't necessarily have to be something romantic/sexual. I'd be happy with something platonic as well.
Kingdom Hearts
I’ve loved this series since way back in 2004, and yet I’m still excited for every bit of canon being explored over and over in fic and art. Modern and reincarnation AUs are my faves in KH, but like I said in my general preferences, I’ll take just about any of them - as well as canon, of course! I'm also totally unashamed of my love of very cliche/trope-y AUs in Kingdom Hearts, such as high school/college/punk/rock band/etc. Anything that wouldn't look out of place on fanfiction.net circa 2007, basically :D This is the one fandom where I’ll make an exception to my dislike of crossovers, if it’s in the concept of visiting a new world.

➺ Axel/Roxas: Canon setting is of course fantastic, but I’m a sucker for all sorts of AUs with these two. Reincarnation and/or fake dating are my faves for this ship specifically, though anything that’s super trope-y and romantic would make me happy :D I also prefer them to be assumed to be similar in age - I’m not a big fan of age gap - but a couple years difference is fine.
➺ Demyx/Zexion: I love brooding and quiet nerd/bubbly extrovert as a dynamic so much :D I think there are just so many ways to explore how they'd interact/get together during their time in Organization. Also, if you're up to date on KH3 trailers - though not necessarily the full game, since it drops in the middle of this event lmao - I'm interested in the ramifications of them being on opposite sides this time around. Friends/Lovers to Enemies (and back again maybe??) could be fun! And painful. But in a good way :D
➺ Riku/Kairi: I loved this ship since KH1, particularly because of Riku's intense dedication to Kairi (and all the fucked up things he does because of it; I love characters who do bad things for good reasons). I love fluff for these two, but I'd be interested in weirder/messed up interpretations, too :D Sora is also welcome as a potential threesome ship (as long as it doesn't shift the focus to Riku/Sora with Kairi getting sidelined).
➺ Aqua/Kairi: Full disclosure, I just want them both to have girlfriends, and I think they'd get along really well. Or, something far more messed up with Aqua, who has spent a decade in the realm of darkness and Kairi, the still pure of heart keyblade wielder.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
I will admit that I’m not as 100% on the canon as I used to be - I think there have been some guidebooks released more recently?? - but that doesn’t change my love for the series. I like things set in canon (as long as they're not 100% focused on card games - my favorite arc was the Ancient Egypt one lmao) but I'm also a big fan of AUs. For basically any of the ships, feel free to sub out Yami Bakura for Thief King Bakura: I love both of them!!! Also, I'd prefer that Yami Malik be referred to with an actual name (like Mariku/Marikku/etc).

➺ Yami Bakura/Malik Ishtar: I love villains teaming up and concocting ridiculous schemes together, as well as all the snark between these two. I also like "two of us against the world" dynamic that fits them so well. I enjoy canon a lot, but fantasy and "what if"/canon divergence AUs are some of my faves for thiefshipping. Also, Ancient Egypt AU with Malik getting together with Thief King (and then potentially reincarnation/next life/etc in the present canon!!) is my other fave. I do like The Abridged Series, but I don't particularly enjoy fanfic of it.
➺ Ryou Bakura/Yami Malik: I love the dynamic of Ryou's soft, weird obsession with creepy things and Yami Malik's just weird...everything. Creepy weirdos - though in totally different ways - coming together is a big love of mine, as well as hero/villain ships. Once again, I like canon, but also am cool with seeing this relationship explored in AUs. Maybe talking about weird magic and/or going cryptid hunting? Yami Malik the cryptid? I'm fine with fluff here, but preferably with a weird twist of some sort.
➺ Bakura Ryou/Yami Bakura/Malik Ishtar: Basically everything I love about thiefshipping, but with Ryou added in for extra softness and weirdness :D
