so I work retail, if that wasn't clear already from the whole selling sex toys for a living thing. anyway!! I love my job and I love the company that I work for, but hot damn if the holidays aren't crazy as fuck.

wednesday was oddly slow but today is definitely making up for it >< I'm working 10 hours tonight and then 8+ tomorrow probably, depending on if my coworker wants me to help her some with the evening shift due to, you know, it being fucking busy as hell.

on the plus side, we got the christmas tree up and decorated yesterday!!!! somehow we lost the tree topper a couple years ago??? so we finally got a new one that I'd been eyeing up at Kmart...mostly because it looks like a fucking kingdom hearts attack. like, I feel like Xemnas is about to attack us thru the tree star, and I love it :D

I also managed to straighten up around the house some yesterday, which is always an accomplishment. I decorated a little on the tv stand and made my desk not a complete mess. so all in all, good things!

I still have to wrap presents, but the rest of Liz's gifts haven't arrived yet. so hopefully I'll be able to do that tonight or tomorrow after work!!! :D
