So, after swearing off twitter, I ended up making a new account to be my side/enstars account...I just wanna look at pretty fanart okay ;w;


also sometimes it's nice to just lean into loving a character...I like my username, I think sakuraagawa is cute 🌸
ALSO SPEAKING OF KOHAKU!!!!!! He's the 3* in the new cross scout, which means I spent two fucking 10 scouts to get a single copy of his bitch ass. Like. Okay. I could use the rate up for the upcoming event, but I was kinda hoping to get to see who was on the other side of the cross scout first :T

I guess I shoulda known, since it took I think this long to get his last 3* from a box :T

I'm also just vibrating with excitement over Altered starting this weekend!!!! It felt so impossibly far away when I started playing - the cards weren't even available in the memorial coin shop yet in jp!! - and now it's almost here. It doesn't quite feel real ;w; I've been waiting so long~

not looking forward to Natsume betraying me in the gacha tho that's for sure

Anyway...I'm kinda hungry, so I guess I should do that instead of just fart around on my laptop XD

It's hard to leave Twitter when a lot of the fandom doesn't. I coordinated making extra channels in some fan servers I'm a part of to make it easier to leave Twitter, but the problem is people just don't think of sharing them on Discord verses a retweet so they ended up being kind of useless.

I do love fandom focused side accounts though: so many good years were spent on my Fire Emblem Heroes side account ♥ Was so much fun to change the icon up to match the seasons, commissioned art, etc! And not to feel weird gushing about the ONE TOPIC all of the time because that's what the account was for.

In the enstars discord channel I'm in, we have a channel for sharing fanworks and it's actually used pretty regularly! I think everyone is on different social medias + there are over 50 characters, so we don't always see the same stuff...hence why people wanna share it with the small group of the chat. It's rough though!!! So much of fandom is still on twitter that it's hard to leave it behind ;w;

I usually don't have fandom-specific accounts, tbh, but it's a lot of fun so far! I've just had the same username for so long that I don't tend to deviate from it...it's nice though!!! I'll see how long I keep it up since, you know, all the trash on twitter & etc, but for now I'm liking it.

Yeah, and like some artists don't allow their stuff to be shared (like private accounts or like the option with bsky that blocks the linking) so it's easy enough to just miss out on things. Or the more annoying thing in which you have to LOG in to your Twitter account to see an art/post on another site which is pretty prominent with the JP side of fandom. (I forget the name of the site.)

As a chronic username hopper, I can't imagine sticking to the same username, so I'm glad you're able to experience the excitement of something new!
