setsuntamew | WHY, Lumos?

Soooooo, after nearly 7 years of eating the same food, Lumos has decided that she does not want it anymore. She had been slooooowly grazing for the past week or so, and a couple days ago just about refused to eat entirely. Because that's a stress I really needed right now!!!

Good news: we found something she'll eat
Bad news: it's about $2/packet and she has to eat two packets a day

I love her SO MUCH I wish she would eat her very affordable kibbles, but apparently some cats just do this as they get older. It's never happened with any of the many cats I've had in my life, so I had avoided it...until now. I'm holding out hope that she's just very stressed right now and that MAYBE she'll go back to eating her regular food again...but who can say ;w;

However!! I did get to see the eclipse today! Baltimore wasn't in the path of totality, but we did get a partial one here. Liz worked from home today, so we get to watch it together. We took Lumos out on the front porch with us and we all enjoyed it together :D I'm sure she had no idea what was going on, but she liked hanging out in the fresh air, sooooo that's a win.

The clouds gave a very aesthetic shot during peak eclipse!! Lumos, however, was less than impressed XD
