I HAVE FIXED THE PRINTER!!!!!

Or at least I fixed the scanning part of it!!!! idk why software has to change in worse ways, but whatever...part of the solution was downloading the old version of the software - HP Scan, instead of the "helpful" all-in-one bullshit HP Smart - and fiddling with the settings. I maybe could have done this with HP Smart...IF YOU COULD ACTUALLY TOUCH THE FUCKING SETTINGS IN THAT PIECE OF SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, now I can get back to scanning doujinshi properly XD

Anyway. Other than that, I'm feeling Not Great :T I woke up feeling crummy yesterday and then even worse today, to the point of accidentally falling back asleep for another 3 hours...on the couch. Bluh.

tbh I wanted to do more grinding for fans in jp today, because it's a good time to due it with the Valentine's bonuses...I just don't feel good.

OH AND ANOTHER THING. The online reader for mewdragon is down?? For some reason????? The rest of my website works just fine, so I don't know what its deal is :T

Sobre a impressora/scaner. Trabalhei na área da fotografia por um tempo e aprendi com muita luta que as versões do software mais antigos são melhores que as novas versões. Eles funcionam melhor, tem menos erro e recursos mais básicos e funcionais que essa coisa de HP Smart de ligar a impressora por bluetooth e instalar tudo via wi-fi pela própria máquina, sem um CD ou download. Minha impressora quando tratava eu já tinha o drive antigo e rodava ele imediatamente e tudo se resolvia. Agora a impressora nova do meu tio se para de funcionar ele é quase obrigado a comprar uma nova de tão chato é para consertar ela.

Exactly!!! I had been using the old HP software for awhile and just plugging the printer into my computer, but I got a new laptop and HP took the download off their site ;w; Thankfully I was able to find a download elsewhere :D

But yeah, trying to deal with HP Smart was so frustrating I was about ready to buy a whole new scanner. I hate how it's just about impossible to have functional stuff these days.
